LEE VE75 Information
To help plan your trip to LEE VE75,, the Community VE Day 75th Anniversary Celebration, the following information is here to provide details on the location, the event opening times, car parking, toilets and food and drink, all are very important for you as a visitor to know.

Lee on the Solent
The organisers recommend that local residents where possible walk or take public transport into Lee on the Solent. There will be the usual public car parks available to use. In addition the grass headland will be opened for parking. If you do need to drive and do not use the public car parks please ensure you park in an appropriate manner and do not obstruct any openings or the flow of traffic.
There a number of public toilets located along the seafront. These can be found at Marine Parade 1 car park and two other toilet blocks can be found to the east and west at around 500m walk.
For the Musical Picnic temporary toilets will be available in the Recreation Ground.

We are reaching out to the community to find a team volunteers to help and support with events and activities leading up and throughout LEE VE75.
Volunteering is a wonderful and rewarding thing to do and offer, so if you feel are able to give a couple of hours of your time or longer then please get in touch using the contact form below.
Photography & Filiming
During the event there will be a number of food and beverage vendors available who will be offering a range of different foods and drinks throughout the event.
This is in addition to the many coffee shops and eateries which are located around the Sea Front of Lee on the Solent. We are pleased to say that The Cottage Loaf and Laneway Cafe are Sponsors of LEE VE75 and offer fantastic food and drinks.
Photography and Filming will be taking place throughout LEE VE75 in all areas of the event for promotional and archival purposes.
The photographs and recordings made are likely to appear on the event, partner and sponsor website together with various social media sites.
If you would prefer not to be photographed, please ensure that you inform the Organiser Event Office or an Event Team Representative where they can issue you with an identification badge for non-photographfy &
